The first week

Everything here happens inside a single save, in order. Nothing below needs a second character, a rare seed or a plan you have not made yet.

Six goals are enough for a strong start

Every section stays open so you can follow the whole first-week route. Tick these off in order and the rest of the guide has nothing left to teach you.

Plant a small crop patch you can water without draining the whole morning.

Check the Request Board and your mail before choosing the day's route.

Collect the starter tools and complete "Do a Bro a Favor" for the pickaxe.

Ship, donate and finish quests to raise Town Rank toward the Mines unlock.

Keep a few useful materials and new finds instead of selling everything.

Meet the townspeople naturally while errands take you through Mistria.

Your first days

Put the most useful unlocks first, while leaving room each day to explore at your own pace.

  1. Day 1

    Till a small plot

Clear only the space you need, till a compact plot and plant the seeds you already have. Celine supplies the worn hoe during the opening day, so learn the farming loop before spending on a larger field.

  2. Days 2–4

Pick up the axe and the first request

Eiland gives you the worn axe at the start of Day 2. Read the Request Board and take "Do a Bro a Favor" when it appears; its reward is the worn pickaxe. Requests do not expire, so accept useful jobs without turning the calendar into a race.

  3. First milestone

    Stone Rank opens the Mines

Donating discoveries, shipping goods and completing quests all add Renown. Town Rank Level 10 is Stone Rank and unlocks the Mines, giving you a reliable source of ore, combat practice and new discoveries.

A rhythm you can keep

The loop below is the whole routine — a morning baseline, a town circuit, and one deliberately chosen focus. The four standing tasks after it are what to fall back on whenever the plan runs out.

A calm daily loop

Do not try to touch every system every day. Finish a small dependable loop, then choose one main goal.

  1. Morning

    Handle the farm first

Water crops, check ready harvests and clear only the debris blocking today's plan.

  2. Midday

    Bundle town errands

Read mail, check requests, donate new finds, shop and greet villagers in one circuit.

  3. Afternoon

    Choose one focus

Mine, fish, forage or finish a quest. One clear goal uses stamina and travel time better than chasing everything.

Four standing tasks

These four are not a checklist for one day — they are the systems that always have something waiting for you. Each one links to the ledger it belongs to.

Farm & resources

Shipping raises Renown and funds seeds, but future requests, recipes and museum donations also need materials. Keep a small reserve of new or slow-to-replace finds, then ship the surplus.

Town & quests

Talk to townspeople. Most quest chains open from natural conversation, not from a menu. Walk past a villager, say hello, and the next step usually appears in the journal.

Mines & skills

Once the Mines unlock, take only what you can carry back safely. Stop by the elevator on every fifth floor, and upgrade your pickaxe before you go deeper.

People & gifts

Birthdays matter more than daily gifts. A single liked gift on a birthday week is worth three neutral gifts, and the heart events are what actually move a route forward.

Traps, and what to read next

Two short lists: the mistakes that cost the most time in a first save, and the guides that take over once the first week is behind you.

Mistakes to avoid

A short list of common traps — each one costs a day when you find it late.

  • Clearing the whole farm on day one
  • Ignoring the Request Board in favor of mining
  • Selling every new find instead of donating to the museum
  • Forgetting to water crops before running off to the Mines

Where to go next

After the first week, switch to a seasonal routine — morning baseline, rotating focus days and a weekly reset. These six guides take over from here.
