Six goals carry week one
These are the only six things worth worrying about in the opening week. Everything else is a variation on them.
01
Plant a small crop patch you can water without draining the whole morning.
02
Check the Request Board and your mail before choosing the day's route.
03
Collect the starter tools and complete "Do a Bro a Favor" for the pickaxe.
04
Ship, donate and finish quests to raise Town Rank toward the Mines unlock.
05
Keep a few useful materials and new finds instead of selling everything.
06
Meet the townspeople naturally while errands take you through Mistria.
Plant these for the first harvest
Spring is the only season with a full spread of short crops, so it carries the whole opening. These are the fastest ones to mature — plant the top two and let the rest of the farm wait.
12 crops grow in Spring in total. Only 12 of them come back on their own, so a regrow crop is worth more than its sell price suggests.
The tool chain you are working toward
Every upgrade is bought from the Blacksmith for bars plus coin, and every one of them speeds up the loop you are already running. Buy them in order — each tier assumes the previous one.
Reaching the Mines
The Mines sit behind Town Rank. Shipping, donating to the Museum and finishing quests are the fastest ways up, and they run while you are doing something else. The Farmhouse and the Mines both open up once the Carpenter is involved.
Ship or donate
Both raise Renown, and donated items also fill the Museum that Errol works in.
Finish requests
The Request Board always has something that pays or unlocks.
Do a Bro a Favor
The starter pickaxe comes from this quest — you cannot mine without it.
Keep some finds
Selling everything leaves you short of the materials the next upgrade asks for.
